• 1st 15 minutes= consultation to establish a baseline and discuss goals

• 2nd 30 minutes= by a prescribed work-out session with electronic handout included

• 3rd 15 minutes= hands-on stretching and relaxation to close

*Strengthening and conditioning are not instantly obtained, you will be working towards a goal you will get better at over time.  Being that each individual is at different fitness levels, it is for this reason, personalized exercise prescription frequency is dependent on the commitment of the client and how often the client sticks to the prescribed program(s) they were given, i.e. is the client consistent with attendance, training at the prescribed intensity and exhibiting good techniques and form without possible injury. 

 

In basic terms: When completing an exercise becomes easy, that’s when it’s time to make it harder. 

Typically, a new prescription is available every 4 weeks in the Beast Mode regime or every 6 weeks with the Dedication regime.

Posture Analysis

A client’s posture provides much information regarding the natural state of their tissues. Through postural analysis, it is possible to determine which areas of their body are under more strain than others, and which muscle groups are causing this strain.  99% of the population has some type of alignment deficiencies when you scan from the head to the heart, hip and then heels.

 

This session includes:

  • Comparative Reports Overtime

  • Remote Virtual Client Screenings (available internationally)

  • 4-images of accurately measured angles and linear distances of posture displacements and detailed report provided

Fitness Assessment

A series of exercises will help to identify your weaknesses and strengths. 

 

For general health and fitness purposes, the tests are considered the starting point for designing an appropriate exercise program. They are meant to ensure you won't be at risk of harm and provide the trainer with the insights needed to establish clear and effective fitness goals.

 

This session includes:

  • Body Composition Analysis

  • Posture Screen analysis

  • Workout prescription followed with a mini work out session and overload of motivation

  • Education and the essential tools for achieving your optimal health and maintaining it for longevity

Corrective Exercise Strategies for Basketball

The online course material offers a systematic assessment and advanced corrective exercise strategy to correct common lower extremity dysfunctions seen in basketball.    

 

Course content:

Human movement dysfunction
Human movement science
Common lower extremity and torso movement compensations (e.g. feet turn out/flatten, knees move inward, excessive forward lean)
Assessment techniques (e.g. Overhead Squat, Single-leg Squat, Goniometric Measurement, Manual Muscle Testing)
Corrective strategies using the traditional corrective exercise continuum model (e.g. inhibit, lengthen, activate, integrate)
Advanced techniques (e.g. soft tissue release, myopractic techniques, neuromuscular stretching, positional isometrics)
