Eating Habits That Improve the Signs of Aging

One cannot reverse the aging process completely or go back in time. If we could, the population numbers would be out of control with everyone pressing the reset button. Aging helps us savor our moments because with know it is all temporary, But what we CAN do is maintain specific nutrition habits to reduce the affects of aging on our skin such as wrinkles, dark spots and more.

Maintaining hydration for your skin is by far the most important, secondly, a balanced diet. Most of us have heard the saying, " You are what you eat!" Well, it's true. The impacts of aging can be slowed down by reducing processed foods, sugars, and exposures to toxins. Go on the offense and take control of your health by incorporating these tips.

  • COLLAGEN!!!! Collagen is in every part of your body. In relation to your skin, it directly effects the thickness, plumpness, firmness. Some sources of collagen is bone broth, meat, and my favorite intake, supplementation. Our body metabolizes and priorities the collagen for every cell membrane, ligaments etc. so the skin is lower on the hierarchy of distribution.   • Seafood- my favorite!!!! high in Omega-3 fatty acids include wild salmon (my fav), sardines, and tuna. Omega 3 fatty acids are helpful in lowering and decreasing the hazards of cardiovascular illnesses. One thing that should be a part of your diet if you want beautiful skin, is fish.

  • Green tea has an amazing impact on your skin. Regularly consumption of green tea is said to lengthen your life because it may repair cell damage brought on by different physical and environmental conditions. You can apply the herbal tea bag to your skin for additional benefits in addition to drinking the tea for its health benefits. Your skin will feel vibrant and fresh. I love to use my green tea bags on my eyes with ice mask after a sauna as a way to cool down and depuff the eyes.

  • Dark Chocolate (also my fav!!!!)can slow down the aging process, are derived from flavonoids. Flavonoids function as antioxidants, and as a result, they delay the onset of aging. It effectively lowers blood pressure and assists in hormone regulation.

  • Blueberries are among the healthiest foods for younger looking skin due to their antioxidant content. It not only slows down aging effects but also lowers the chance of cancer-like illnesses. Moreover, it can also help prevent memory loss brought on by aging.

  • Avocados The natural oils from avocados, which include antioxidants, are fantastic for your skin. They moisturize and nourish your skin while preventing wrinkles. Moreover, the greatest anti-aging components found in avocados are vitamins E and C.

  • Flaxseeds are an abundant source of lignans, antioxidants, vitamins, and Omega-3 fatty acids, which reduce inflammation and battle the indications of premature aging. They also assist in keeping acne-free, smooth, and moisturized skin.

  • Sweet Potatoes Just like blueberries, sweet potatoes are an antioxident, in addition they are high in fiber . These properties aid in protecting your body against free radical damage and promote radiant skin as well as a healthy gut and brain.
